Building a Business, Building a Balance

Building a business requires time, energy, commitment and perseverance. Add to that the (loving) demands of family and often a 9-5 job that you're keeping until your entrepreneurial business is underway, and you are a very busy person. As my business grows I find that the excitement and the exposure to new ideas, new people, new techniques keeps me working long hours and late into the night. Does that sound familiar?

Months of hard work setting up an interlocking web of websites, blogs, articles, etc...is paying off. Traffic is coming. Leads are being generated. It works!! Yet for me, success only creates a need to know more/do more/learn more. And so I spend a lot of time learning about new ways to generate traffic to my websites and new techniques to teach to my team. This is all GOOD. There are no complaints here, only some philosophical musings regarding balance.

In Think and Grow Rich, that bible for entrepreneurs, Napolean Hill has you develop an outline and a daily mantra to go with it. When you develop your outline you are asked to state what it is that you will give up in order to achieve the goal that you fervently desire. I was very clear that I would give up my free time and my recreation time in order to build my business to the level of my dreams. As I was I taking a much needed walk tonight I realized that giving up those things did not mean forgoing basic exercise or time to take a breather from work. In fact, the point that came to me was that as I ardently pursue my goal, I need to be that much more focused on every moment of my life, even the non-work related ones.

That means being 100% in the moment with my daughter when I'm playing with her, rather than thinking about the next phone call or email. It means paying attention to the beauty of my mountain home when I'm out walking, rather than planning the details of my next blog post. You get the picture. By being conscious of each moment, it will in fact keep my mind more clear and better able to work harder and more efficiently during the times that I am focused on my business.

How To Sponsor 10+ New Business Builders PER MONTH!!!

While many in network marketing struggle to sponsor just 1-2 people into their business per month, there are those that easily sponsor 10-20. What do they do that is different than the average? There are three answers to that question.
1. They set daily, weekly and monthly goals and stick to them.
2. They create MASSIVE ACTION. This means that instead of calling 10 leads per day, they call 200...EVERY DAY!!
3. They understand the psychology of recruiting.

As a 20 year professional in the field of psychology, number three is particularly intriguing to me. What is the psychology of recruiting? What it means is that there is a way to speak with prospects that creates a desire on their part to work with you and to want to know about and join your business. No one explains this better than Mark Weiser. I've placed a banner below that links to a FREE, 60 minute video interview of Mark explaining how he regularly sponsors over 20 new people per month and the psychology that he uses. Mark has a background in Clinical Psychology and he speaks my language. I think you'll find the information he presents incredibly useful in your own growth as a business person.

Generating MLM Leads for Free

The key to success in any type of sales business is to always be talking to and contacting new people. In network marketing this process is exponential, as everyone in your organization needs to be reaching out to new customers and prospects, as well. That is why network marketing is so powerful. In essence, it is as if you cloned yourself. Your down-line is an extension of you. Imagine if you talked to 20 new prospects per day. If you have 10 business builders in your down-line, each doing the same thing, then in essence your organization has talked to 200 people in one day.

Duplication is the magic word here. It is your job to provide your down-line with tools that will enable them to duplicate what you do and then to teach the same system to their people, as well. Every successful person in network marketing has a system. Most people use a combination of things that come from their company, their up-line and their own research. You must have a system that not only works, but that people new to the industry can put in place and start using immediately.

I recently came across a tool that opens people's eyes to business structure that we call "network marketing". Often when you approach people about your opportunity you are met with questions and concerns regarding this business structure. I have started to teach my prospects about the beauty of network marketing and why it is such a powerful financially lucrative industry at this point in our evolution and national economy. By educating people about network marketing first, I have eliminated many of the objections that I heard before, once I present my main business.

This system that I've using can be found by clicking here. Once you are on the page, look for a tab at the top that let's you view the movie that you are going to share with your prospects. As you watch the movie you will see why this has become my most powerful network marketing tool. Good Luck!!

How to Make Money Like a Wealthy Person

How the Rich THINK Differently and How You Can Think Rich Too

In his book The Cashflow Quadrant, Robert Kiyosaki spends a lot of time focusing on the four main ways that people create income. They are: Employee, Self-employed. Business Owner and Investor. If you can picture a square divided into four quadrants, Employee is in the upper left corner, Self-employed in the lower left corner, Business Owner in the upper right and Investor in the lower right. If you actually draw that picture on a piece of paper before reading on, I believe you'll better understand the rest of this article.

According to Kiyosaki, the difference between those who are truly wealthy and those who are not is about where the income comes from and if assets are greater than liabilities. Wealthy people have assets that create income. Whereas those on the left side of the quadrant generate most of their income from working at a job or seeing clients or patients, those on the right side of the quadrant generate most of their income passively. What this means is that they have assets that create a monthly residual cashflow and that cashflow is greater than that person's financial liabilities.

Wealth is a factor of how you think about money. If you continually spend all the money that you make, then you will never be wealthy. What the "work for a salary/hourly wage" type people see as assets are actually liabilities if they carry any debt. This includes your house and your car. These things are only assets if they have no debt or of they actually bring in income. Real Estate is an asset to the extent that someone else (ie: a tenant) is paying the mortgage and the expenses. If you THINK about assets like a rich person, you will begin to set up your life and your finance in a way that creates true assets.

Donald Trump, Warren Buffet, Robert Kiyosaki have all come out recently in support of the structure of network marketing companies. If you are a business owner than you are working from the right side of Kiyosaki's quadrant and thus are creating income in a way that does not rely on your physical presense or time. Starting a business can be costly and risky. The beauty of network marketing is that you can start your own business for little money and operate within the structure of an already established company. There is nothing better in business than making money without spending much of your own. This is what rich people do. You can to it too. Network marketing is a means to this end.

Risk is a matter of education. As you learn more about an industry or a business or an investment, it becomes less risky. What is truly risky is entering into a situation and using your own money without having a full understanding of what you're doing. Again, this is where network marketing is a great opportunity. The financial investment is small enough that you can earn while you learn and even keep your day job until your residual income flow catches up with your current salary.

The most exciting network marketing opportunity right now is with a company called Zrii. Zrii fits all of the parameters of a legitimate network marketing company. Plus it has something else. Why Binary Compensation Plans Suck

Understand why most people struggle in binary compensation plans

There is a an appeal to thebinary compensation plans for newcomers to the field of network marketing. Binaries are easy to understand. The amount of money paid out to distributors is often a flat rate based on volume of product sold. Newbies are sold on the idea that their upline can only place people in one of two places and thus a new person's business will be "fed" from above. If you are one of the lucky people to be placed on a very succesful upline's "power leg", then in reality you only have to work one leg. Unfortunately, many people do not end up in this situation and that is where the trouble begins.

Binary MLM compensation plans pay out a percentage based on the total volume on the lessor (least profitable) leg. You do not get paid on your greater leg. The company keeps all that money. So let us say that you end up on someone's inside leg. What that means is that no one from above you will place anyone on that leg but the person who enrolled you. If your enroller is not actively and successfully growing his or her business, you will receive no people place below low from anyone but yourself.

All those in network marketing know that successful businesses are built by building a good, strong downline, not relying on an upline. But here is the problem in a binary. If you have to build both your legs on your own, you go out and start recruitng people. You alternate where you place them, in order to keep your two legs balanced. In binary plans, balance is crucial. After a few month you've placed ten people on your right leg and 14 on you left leg. Of these, seven on the right and nine on the left are starting to build their businesses. Your network is growing. Things are relatively balanced. You're starting to receive a small residual income.

Then you get lucky and enroll Sam on your right leg. Sam has been in the network marketing industry for 25 years. You are excited. Sam's business takes off like gangbusters!! In a few months you have over $100,000 worth of volume on your right leg. Your left leg is still doing OK, but you only have $12,000 worth of volume there. If your company pays out 8% of your lessor leg, then you will receive 8% if $12,000. $960. Since your company does not have to pay you anything on your right leg, they keep that money.

You have done a great job enrolling Sam on your team. You are not getting paid on ANYTHING that Sam does. Your company is making a lot of money from your hard work and you are not benefiting from it. And it gets worse. Sam is really good at this business and eventually your right leg has one million dollars worth of volume in it. Even if you've developed your left leg and are up to $100,000 in volume, guess what? You still will not get a dime of the money that Sam is generating. You only get paid on the left leg, the shorter leg.

In my opinion, binary plans sound great. They are easy to understand. They make people feel like they are working as part of a team. It's all good until your hard work ends up benefitting the company instead of benefitting you .

There is a better way to go. Compensation plans have developed a great deal since the beginning of network marketing, about 70 years ago. The latest type of compensation plan is called a Hybrid Unilevel Plan. In this plan you are paid for any volume that happens underneath you. Old fashioned unilevel plans often paid down only 9 levels or 10 levels. In some of the new hybrid plans, distributors end up getting paid down to the bottom. It could be 37 levels or 52. The computer calculates every purchase of product made by every person in below you...whether you have one, two, three or more legs. As you move up the line people are paid as deep as they have qualified for. As you move up in the ranking you are paid on more levels. Everything is dynamically compressed from the bottom up.

This type of dynamically compressed unilevel plan is the cutting edge of network marketing compensation plans. Add to it other bonuses for beginners, plus matching bonuses and rank bonuses and the sky is the limit. This type of plan is inherently more fair to its distributors that any other plan in the industry today, particularly in comparison to binaries.

The links below will give you more details and information. If you are looking to join a network marketing with this type of prosperity plan, please click here.
